A brand-new upscale nightclub and lounge is opening soon in Fort Lauderdale, and we are building a strong leadership team ahead of launch. Our venue will combine premium nightlife, elevated hospitality, craft cocktails, entertainment, and a high-quality culinary experience designed for late-night guests and VIP clientele.

We are seeking a talented and driven Head Chef to help create and lead our kitchen operations from the ground up.

Position Overview

This is a unique opportunity for an experienced chef to play a key role in launching a new nightlife destination. The Head Chef will be responsible for menu development, kitchen setup, staffing, inventory systems, and overseeing all culinary operations leading up to and after opening.

The ideal candidate is creative, organized, hands-on, and thrives in high-energy hospitality environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute an innovative food menu for an upscale nightlife atmosphere
• Assist with kitchen setup, equipment organization, and operational planning before opening
• Recruit, train, and manage kitchen staff
• Establish food preparation standards, recipes, and portion controls
• Manage inventory, vendor relationships, ordering, and food costs
• Ensure compliance with all health and safety standards
• Collaborate with ownership and management on launch preparation and special events
• Lead kitchen operations during high-volume evening service

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Executive Chef or Head Chef experience
• Experience in upscale restaurants, lounges, hotels, or nightlife venues preferred
• Strong leadership and team-building skills
• Ability to create efficient kitchen systems and workflows
• Experience with inventory management and food costing
• Must be available nights, weekends, and holidays
• Passion for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences
