Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Person to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and be proficient in various maintenance tasks, ensuring that our facilities remain in optimal condition. This role requires a proactive individual who can work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating leadership qualities while performing essential maintenance duties.

Duties

• Conduct routine inspections of facilities to identify maintenance needs and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Perform repairs and maintenance on electrical systems, plumbing, HVAC, and other mechanical systems.
• Utilize schematics to troubleshoot and repair equipment efficiently.
• Execute residential painting tasks to maintain the aesthetic appeal of the property.
• Fabricate and weld components as necessary to support maintenance projects.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
• Collaborate with team members to develop effective solutions for complex maintenance issues.
• Lead small teams in specific projects or tasks, ensuring adherence to timelines and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Proficient in reading and interpreting schematics and technical drawings.
• Experience in residential painting is preferred.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to guide and motivate others.
• Knowledge of logic controllers and electrical systems is essential.
• Familiarity with CMMS for tracking maintenance activities is a plus.
• Proficient in English, both written and verbal communication skills are required.
• Ability to fabricate parts or components as needed for repairs or improvements.
• Welding experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
• A solid foundation in mechanical knowledge is crucial for success in this role.
