Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Front Desk Agent to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a warm and welcoming atmosphere. This role is essential in managing guest relations, handling inquiries, and facilitating a seamless check-in and check-out experience.

Responsibilities

  • Greet guests upon arrival with a warm and friendly demeanor.
  • Manage the check-in and check-out process efficiently, ensuring accuracy in guest information.
  • Handle reservations, cancellations, and modifications through phone systems and online platforms.
  • Address guest inquiries and concerns promptly, providing solutions to enhance their stay.
  • Maintain knowledge of hotel services, amenities, and local attractions to assist guests effectively.
  • Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest rooms are ready for occupancy.
  • Process payments accurately and maintain a balanced cash drawer.
  • Uphold hotel policies and procedures while maintaining confidentiality of guest information.

Skills

  • Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
  • Experience in front desk operations or hotel management preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to build rapport with guests from diverse backgrounds; multilingual skills are a plus.
  • Proficiency in using phone systems and hotel management software.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing reservations and guest requests.
  • A background in hospitality management is advantageous but not required.
