The Country Inn & Suites by Radisson in Coeur d’Alene is seeking a friendly, reliable, and guest-focused Front Desk Agent to join our hospitality team. This position is responsible for providing exceptional customer service to hotel guests while handling reservations, check-ins, check-outs, and general front desk operations.

The ideal candidate is professional, organized, dependable, and enjoys creating positive guest experiences in a fast-paced hotel environment.

Responsibilities

  • Welcome guests with a positive and professional attitude
  • Complete guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently
  • Answer phone calls and assist with reservations and guest inquiries
  • Handle guest requests, concerns, and service recovery professionally
  • Process payments and maintain accurate records
  • Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance departments regarding room status and guest needs
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk and lobby areas
  • Follow hotel brand standards, policies, and procedures
  • Assist with audit or reporting duties as needed
  • Provide local recommendations and information to guests

Qualifications

  • Previous hotel or customer service experience preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Basic computer skills and ability to learn hotel management systems
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Professional appearance and positive attitude
  • Dependable attendance and punctuality required
  • Must be able to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Ability to move throughout the hotel property as needed
