The Country Inn & Suites by Radisson in Coeur d’Alene is seeking a friendly, reliable, and guest-focused Front Desk Agent to join our hospitality team. This position is responsible for providing exceptional customer service to hotel guests while handling reservations, check-ins, check-outs, and general front desk operations.
The ideal candidate is professional, organized, dependable, and enjoys creating positive guest experiences in a fast-paced hotel environment.
Responsibilities
- Welcome guests with a positive and professional attitude
- Complete guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently
- Answer phone calls and assist with reservations and guest inquiries
- Handle guest requests, concerns, and service recovery professionally
- Process payments and maintain accurate records
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance departments regarding room status and guest needs
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk and lobby areas
- Follow hotel brand standards, policies, and procedures
- Assist with audit or reporting duties as needed
- Provide local recommendations and information to guests
Qualifications
- Previous hotel or customer service experience preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic computer skills and ability to learn hotel management systems
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Professional appearance and positive attitude
- Dependable attendance and punctuality required
- Must be able to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to move throughout the hotel property as needed
