The YMCA of Greater Toronto is looking to hire dedicated and passionate childcare professionals to join our growing team in our childcare & before and after school centers.

Please note we are specifically interviewing applicants who live in Port Perry, Uxbridge, Beaverton and neighboring areas ONLY. Candidates who do not live in these areas WILL NOT be considered for an interview.

You will plan and deliver a consistent child-centred program in accordance with our YMCA Playing to Learn curriculum (0-6 year olds) and the YMCA Place to Connect curriculum (6-12 year olds). We are committed to providing you with opportunities to develop your knowledge, skills, and career while you enhance the experience of the children and families that we serve.

Position Types and Required Availability:

Supply: This is a casual, as need position and allows for a flexible schedule. Supply staff must be available to work at least 3 afternoons (from 2:00pm-6:00pm) or 3 full days (between 7am – 6:00pm) per week, Monday to Friday. Opening shifts can start as early as 6:30am and closing shifts can end as late as 6:00pm. Opportunities to work morning, split shifts, and full day shifts also arise.

Part-Time: Part-time staff must have availability to work everyday, Monday to Friday, between the hours of 2:00-6:00pm to be considered for a position.

Split Shift Salaried : Salaried split shift staff (in our before and after school programs) must have availability to work every day, Monday to Friday, between 7:00-9:00am AND 2:30-6:00pm to be considered for a position. Guaranteed 30 hours per week (6 hours per day).
