*The scheduled shift is Monday & Tuesday from 7:00am – 3:00pm.*

The Guest Service Representative makes the first impression to our valued guests by extending a warm welcome, providing information about the hotel and local area. As a GSR, you administer the starting/evening shift of the day which sets up the remaining shifts and staff for success.

You will be responsible for registering incoming guests, assisting them at check in, settling guest accounts upon checkout, resolving guest issues, fielding incoming calls, assisting with reservations and ensuring guests are comfortable in the hotel. You will work closely with the Operations, Sales, Housekeeping & Maintenance departments.

The Guest Service Associate is required to have an upbeat personality.

Duties

  • Maintaining a high level of customer service
  • Greet customers immediately with a friendly and sincere welcome
  • Process guest check-ins and check-outs effectively
  • Understand and adhere to proper credit, check cashing and accounting policies
  • Answer the telephone with proper etiquette
  • Receive and resolve guest complaints efficiently
  • Complete Front desk checklist daily

Skill Set

  • Empathetically listen to guest inquiries and provide appropriate responses
  • Ability to accurately and efficiently input information into computer systems
  • Ability to think clearly, quickly and make conscious decisions
  • Ability to prioritize, organize and follow up
  • Ability to take initiative and effectively adapt to change
  • Excellent customer service experience
  • Hotel front desk experience is strongly preferred but not required
