Front Desk Agent

Position Summary
We are seeking a friendly and service-driven Guest Service Agent to create a welcoming experience for every guest. This role is responsible for front desk operations, guest interactions, and ensuring a smooth stay from arrival to departure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet guests and provide a professional, welcoming experience at all times
  • Handle check-in and check-out processes accurately and efficiently
  • Respond promptly to guest requests, questions, and concerns
  • Process payments, post charges, and follow proper cash handling procedures
  • Manage reservations, room assignments, and special requests
  • Answer phones using proper etiquette and assist with inquiries
  • Maintain knowledge of hotel services, amenities, and local information
  • Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance to support guest needs
  • Keep the front desk and lobby areas clean and organized
  • Follow all safety, security, and emergency procedures
  • Document and communicate important updates to team members and management

Qualifications

  • Previous customer service or hospitality experience preferred
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic computer skills required
  • Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Ability to lift or move items up to 40 lbs as needed
