Position Summary
We are seeking a friendly and service-driven Guest Service Agent to create a welcoming experience for every guest. This role is responsible for front desk operations, guest interactions, and ensuring a smooth stay from arrival to departure.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet guests and provide a professional, welcoming experience at all times
- Handle check-in and check-out processes accurately and efficiently
- Respond promptly to guest requests, questions, and concerns
- Process payments, post charges, and follow proper cash handling procedures
- Manage reservations, room assignments, and special requests
- Answer phones using proper etiquette and assist with inquiries
- Maintain knowledge of hotel services, amenities, and local information
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance to support guest needs
- Keep the front desk and lobby areas clean and organized
- Follow all safety, security, and emergency procedures
- Document and communicate important updates to team members and management
Qualifications
- Previous customer service or hospitality experience preferred
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Basic computer skills required
- Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift or move items up to 40 lbs as needed
