Job Title: Hotel Housekeeper
Location: voco by IHG, Flagstaff, AZ
Department: Housekeeping
Reports To: Head Housekeeper / Executive Housekeeper

Job Summary:
Join the welcoming team at voco by IHG as a Hotel Housekeeper, where your attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness will directly impact the comfort and satisfaction of every guest. As a vital part of our housekeeping department, you will ensure guest rooms and public areas are consistently clean, fresh, and inviting—upholding the high standards of the IHG brand.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean and maintain guest rooms, bathrooms, and public areas according to hotel standards.
• Replace used amenities, change linens, vacuum carpets, dust furniture, and disinfect surfaces.
• Restock supplies such as towels, toiletries, and minibar items.
• Report maintenance issues or safety hazards immediately to the appropriate department.
• Respect guests’ privacy and adhere to “Do Not Disturb” policies.
• Handle all cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and responsibly.
• Ensure lost and found items are reported and documented properly.
• Work efficiently to meet daily room quotas and timelines.
• Follow all health and safety protocols to maintain a clean and safe environment.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to meet service goals.

Qualifications:

• Prior housekeeping experience in a hotel or similar setting preferred, but not required—training provided.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high cleanliness standards.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable, punctual, and respectful with a positive attitude.
• Physically able to perform cleaning duties (bending, lifting, standing for extended periods).
• Must be able to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
