Laundry Attendant (Seasonal – through October)

Atlantic View Hotel – Dewey Beach, DE

The Atlantic View Hotel is hiring a **seasonal Laundry Attendant** to support our housekeeping team during the summer season. This important role ensures our linens are fresh, clean, and readily available to the team throughout the day.

You’ll help manage the daily laundry operation, assist with stripping rooms, and support linen delivery across our four-story hotel. Team members will be available to assist with transporting linens between floors as needed. If you’re reliable, detail-focused, and enjoy working behind the scenes in a well-run environment, this could be a great fit.

Part-time, seasonal position. Weekend and holiday availability required.

Primary Responsibilities:

– Wash, dry, fold, and organize all hotel linens

– Assist housekeepers by collecting used linens and stripping guest rooms as needed

– Support the delivery of clean linens to guest floors throughout the day

– Monitor linen supply levels on each floor and restock as needed

– Maintain a clean, orderly, and sanitary laundry area

– Report low inventory or equipment issues to the supervisor

– Follow all housekeeping and safety standards

– Assist with general housekeeping tasks when requested

Requirements:

– Ability to work efficiently and stay organized throughout the shift

– Ability to lift up to 50lbs.

– Comfortable using stairs as part of the job

– Strong attention to cleanliness and detail

– Reliable, professional, and able to work independently or as part of a team
