JOB SUMMARY
We’re seeking a dependable and guest‑focused Houseperson Associate to support our housekeeping team and ensure our property remains clean, organized, and welcoming. This role plays a key part in creating a positive experience for every guest who walks through our door. As Houseperson Associate you’ll promote a positive image of the property to guests, and must be pleasant, friendly and able to address problems or special requests.
Houseperson Associate duties includes and are not limited to;
- Maintain cleanliness of property public areas, including hallways, lobbies, restrooms, stairwells, and elevators
- Assist room attendants by delivering linens, towels, amenities, and cleaning supplies
- Remove trash, recycling, and soiled linens from guest floors and service closets
- Restock housekeeping closets and ensure supplies are organized and accessible
- Respond promptly to guest requests and provide friendly, professional service
- Support setup and breakdown for special events or meeting rooms (if applicable)
- Perform deep‑cleaning tasks and special projects as assigned
- Follow all hotel safety, sanitation, and security procedures.
Requirements for the role:
- Previous hotel or housekeeping experience is helpful but not required
- Ability to meet the physical requirements of the job (lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs, bending, reaching and kneeling)
- Comfortable walking and standing for long periods (Up to 8 hours)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Reliable, punctual, and team‑oriented
- Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays.
