Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Guest Service Agent to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring they have a memorable experience from check-in to check-out. This role requires excellent communication skills, a passion for customer service, and the ability to handle guest inquiries and concerns with professionalism. Duties
– Welcome guests upon arrival and provide a warm and friendly check-in experience.
– Manage reservations, including modifications and cancellations, efficiently through our hotel management system.
– Respond promptly to guest inquiries regarding services, amenities, and local attractions.
– Handle guest complaints or issues with empathy and resolve them in a timely manner.
– Maintain accurate records of guest interactions and transactions.
– Assist with the coordination of special requests or arrangements for guests, such as transportation or dining reservations.
– Ensure that all areas of the front desk are clean, organized, and welcoming at all times.
– Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
Requirements
– Previous experience in guest services or hospitality is preferred but not mandatory.
– Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
– Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills; ability to engage with guests in a friendly manner.
– Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to cater to diverse clientele.
– Knowledge of hotel management systems is a plus but not required; training will be provided.
– Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
– Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
