Responsibilities

• Operate laundry machines and equipment to wash, dry, and fold linens, towels, uniforms, and guest clothing with precision and care
• Sort laundry items according to type, color, and cleaning requirements to ensure optimal results
• Perform dry cleaning processes for delicate or specialty fabrics as needed
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area, including supplies inventory management
• Follow established safety protocols and proper handling procedures for cleaning chemicals and equipment
• Assist with minor repairs or troubleshooting of laundry machinery to minimize downtime
• Collaborate with housekeeping staff to ensure timely delivery of clean linens and maintain high standards of hygiene throughout the facility

Qualifications

• Prior experience in laundry services or hotel housekeeping is preferred but not required; training will be provided
• Strong knowledge of laundry techniques, including washing, drying, folding, and stain removal
• Ability to operate commercial laundry equipment safely and efficiently
• Excellent attention to detail with a focus on cleanliness and quality control
• Good physical stamina for standing, bending, lifting heavy loads, and working in a fast-paced environment
• Familiarity with cleaning chemicals and safety procedures is a plus
• A positive attitude with strong teamwork skills and a commitment to guest satisfaction
