Housekeeping Staff Member

As a part of our staff, your hard work, dedication and teamwork all play a major role in the success and growth of our beautiful hotel. Candidates for all of the above listed positions must have a flexible schedule since hours will vary week to week depending on the hotels occupancy. All positions will also require the employee to demonstrate outstanding communication skills for both guest and fellow employee interaction. All positions are deemed Full-time; however hours may vary. Candidates MUST be available to work a varying schedule as well as ANY AND ALL holidays as needed. Listed below you will find a brief description for the position we are currently seeking to fill:

Housekeeping Staff Member: If you have ever stayed at any hotel before whether for leisure or business, you realize how vital a hardworking and dedicated Housekeeping staff is to a hotels success. Here at Holiday Inn Express and Suites, we are no exception to this rule! Our hardworking and professionally trained Housekeeping staff provides our guests with exceptional and courteous service on a daily basis. Whether a guest is stopping in for a short visit with us or spending multiple nights with us, we strive to make sure they experience the most luxurious, comfortable and cleanest stay possible! Housekeeping Staff Member hours will vary based off of hotel occupancy; however, this is a Full-time position. Qualified candidates for this position must demonstrate the following:

• Flexibility in scheduling
• Strong attention to detail to ensure that every aspect of a guest’s suite is exceptionally clean
• The ability to lift 25-50lbs unassisted
• Job duties include cleaning guest rooms, changing linens, bed making and vacuuming
• Exceptional communication skills are a must for both guest and employee interaction
• The ability to lift, stand, walk and perform job related activities for a full work day with no limitations
• The ability to comprehend both verbal and written direction from supervisor with ease
• Must be able to work in a fast paced environment where the ability to multitask is strongly needed
• Previous housekeeping or professional cleaning experience is preferred, but not necessary
