The Mirror Lake Inn is seeking motivated and professional cooks to join our culinary team at The View Restaurant and The Cottage Restaurant, two distinctive dining experiences located at Lake Placid’s finest resort.
The View Restaurant is an AAA Four Diamond rated restaurant known for its locally influenced fine dining menus. This position is ideal for experienced line cooks looking to grow in a professional, high-quality culinary environment.
The Cottage Restaurant offers a lively, high-volume dining atmosphere where cooks prepare meals efficiently while maintaining excellent food quality and sanitation standards.
Both positions provide opportunities to work with a supportive team in a clean, professional kitchen environment with opportunities for growth and advancement. Full-time and part-time year-round positions are available.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Set up and prepare kitchen stations for service
- Prepare menu items and customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Cook food according to recipes and chef specifications
- Assist the Executive Chef and Sous Chefs with daily kitchen operations
- Prepare necessary food items for daily service
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen environment
- Follow all sanitation regulations, allergy protocols, and safety standards
- Clean and sanitize equipment and workstations during and after service
- Monitor temperatures of hot and cold food items to ensure safety and quality
- Break down stations and properly close the kitchen at the end of shifts
- Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers
