Job Description:
The Hotel Front Desk Clerk serves as the first point of contact for guests at our establishment, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. This role involves managing front desk operations, assisting guests with check-in and check-out procedures, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
Duties
- Greet and welcome guests upon arrival with a friendly demeanor.
- Manage the check-in and check-out process efficiently and accurately.
- Provide information about hotel services, amenities, and local attractions to enhance guest experience.
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve issues promptly to ensure satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate records of room availability and reservations using hotel management software.
- Process payments and manage cash handling procedures with attention to detail.
- Uphold high standards of cleanliness and organization throughout the inn.
- Assist with phone calls, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette and knowledge of the property.
- Assist with other duties as assigned to include some laundry and light cleaning of reception area.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a hotel or hospitality environment preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Availability to work weekends Friday-Sunday shifts
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing tasks efficiently.
