Responsibilities

• Operate laundry machines, including washing, drying, folding, and ironing linens, towels, and guest clothing with precision and care
• Sort laundry items by color, fabric type, and cleaning requirements to ensure optimal results
• Perform dry cleaning services for delicate or special items as needed
• Maintain cleanliness of the laundry area by organizing supplies and ensuring equipment is in good working order
• Follow safety protocols and proper handling procedures for cleaning chemicals and machinery
• Assist with inventory management by tracking supplies and notifying supervisors when replenishments are needed
• Support overall hotel cleanliness by participating in cleaning tasks when necessary to uphold hygiene standards

Skills

• Proven experience in laundry services or hotel housekeeping preferred
• Strong knowledge of laundry techniques, including dry cleaning and stain removal
• Excellent attention to detail to ensure all items meet quality standards
• Ability to operate laundry equipment safely and efficiently
• Good organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
• Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy loads when necessary
• Positive attitude with a commitment to providing outstanding guest service
