Overview
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Duty Manager to lead our hotel operations with enthusiasm and professionalism. This pivotal role involves overseeing daily hotel activities, ensuring outstanding guest service, managing staff, and maintaining operational excellence. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for service, and a comprehensive understanding of all aspects of hotel operations to support our diverse team and guest needs.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily hotel operations, including front desk, housekeeping, maintenance, and food services
  • Lead and motivate staff to deliver exceptional customer service aligned with company standards
  • Handle guest inquiries, resolve issues promptly, and enhance overall guest satisfaction
  • Coordinate with maintenance team to ensure timely repairs of hotel equipment
  • Oversee safety protocols, including compliance with OH&S standards
  • Perform security walkthroughs of the entire hotel premises
  • Communicate to the General Manager the daily activities
  • Ensure department procedures (open & closing duties, cleaning lists) are being adhered to
  • Perform any other duties that may be assigned from time to time by the General Manager

Position Requirements:

  • Must be a hands-on manager and willing to jump in where and when needed
  • Must have a well-groomed appearance at all times
  • Must be able to perform efficiently under pressure and within time constraints
  • Must have ability to work cooperatively with all hotel employees
  • Must be flexible for evening or night shifts, as well, split shifts if necessary

  • Positive attitude towards the hotel and the hotel industry in general
