Job Summary

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve breakfast items with precision, ensuring food quality and presentation meet established standards
  • Set up breakfast buffet stations, including arranging food displays, utensils, and condiments to create an inviting presentation
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the breakfast area, including counters, tables, and equipment
  • Assist with food handling and safety procedures in accordance with health regulations
  • Engage with guests courteously, answer questions about menu items, and provide exceptional guest service
  • Restock supplies as needed throughout the shift to ensure smooth operation of breakfast service
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate meal preparation and delivery efficiently
  • Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for guest transactions when applicable
  • Clear tables, bussing dishes promptly to maintain a tidy environment
  • Support catering or banquet functions related to breakfast service when required
  • Uphold high standards of cleanliness by cleaning kitchen tools, utensils, and workstations after each shift

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in food service, catering, or hospitality roles preferred; kitchen experience is highly valued
  • Knowledge of food preparation techniques and food safety standards
  • Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
  • Strong communication skills with excellent phone etiquette and guest relations abilities
  • Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently
  • Experience with meal preparation, buffet setup, and food handling procedures
  • Ability to work early mornings or flexible hours in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated teamwork skills along with a positive attitude toward guest service and hospitality excellence
  • Food safety certification or dietary aide experience is advantageous but not required
