Full job description

We are looking for reliable and enthusiastic Event Support Team Member to join our team. In this role, you will be the face of our events, ensuring our guests have a safe, welcoming, and seamless experience from arrival to departure.

Role Overview

You will provide essential support for a variety of events, acting as both a helpful resource for our guests and an extra set of eyes to ensure a secure environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Customer Service: Act as the primary point of contact for guests; answer venue questions, provide directions, and resolve minor issues with a friendly attitude.
  • Access Control: Monitor entry points, check names against guest lists, and manage gate access to ensure only authorized individuals enter the venue.
  • Event Operations: Assist with the physical setup and breakdown of events, including lifting and moving tables, chairs, and other event equipment.
  • Safety & Security: Maintain a visible presence to help ensure a secure environment, report any concerns to management, and assist with crowd management as needed.

Requirements

  • Physical Stamina: Must be able to comfortably lift, carry, and set up event furniture (tables, chairs, etc.).
  • Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to remain calm and helpful in busy, high-energy environments.
  • Reliability: Punctuality is a must. You must be dependable and able to follow safety protocols.
  • Availability: Must be available for weekend work.

Position Details

  • Schedule: Part-time with a flexible schedule.
  • Shift Times: Most shifts run from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM.
  • Location: Grand Highalnd Hotel
