A hotel deep cleaner performs intensive, periodic cleaning tasks that go beyond daily housekeeping, ensuring sanitized, pristine conditions. They focus on moving heavy furniture, shampooing carpets, cleaning high surfaces, and detailing bathrooms to prevent mold. This role requires physical stamina, knowledge of industrial cleaning chemicals, and attention to detail.
Core Responsibilities & Tasks
- Deep Room Cleaning: Moving beds and heavy furniture to vacuum and clean underneath/behind.
- Flooring & Surface Care: Carpet Cleaning as needed
- High-Detail Cleaning: Washing walls, cleaning ceiling tiles, dusting air vents, and cleaning light fixtures, often using ladders.
- Bathroom Sanitation: Descaling showerheads, deep scrubbing grout lines, and cleaning drains to prevent mold.
- Specialized Maintenance: Sanitizing mattresses, cleaning upholstery, and washing windows or blinds.
- Equipment Management: Operating heavy cleaning machinery (Carpet Cleaner)
- Preventative Maintenance: Reporting maintenance issues like broken lightbulbs or damage to management.
- Deep Cleaning Public Areas: Lobby, Public Restrooms, Pool, Fitness Room
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift over 35 lbs, bend, stretch, and stand for extended periods.
- Attention to Detail: Ensuring all nooks, corners, and hidden areas are sanitized.
- Experience: Previous housekeeping or janitorial experience is perferrd
