Join our vibrant team as a Weekend Breakfast Attendant and be the first smile our guests see in the morning! As a key member of our hospitality team, you will ensure that every guest starts their weekend with a warm welcome, delicious food, and outstanding service. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will set the tone for a lively, inviting atmosphere that keeps guests coming back weekend after weekend.
Duties
- Coordinate day-to-day activities, ensuring breakfast is prepared in accordance with food handling regulations, guidelines and brand standards.
- Ensure food is prepped and ready for the beginning of breakfast and replenished throughout breakfast hours.
- Maintain cleanliness during breakfast hours while being attentive to guests needs.
- Greet all guests and ensure you are walking around the breakfast area engaging them; replenish coffee and provide a memorable guest experience.
- Maintain inventory of all food supply and assist with the completion of food orders as necessary.
- Assist in necessary setup, service and breakdown of breakfast and meeting room functions.
- Inspect the kitchen, prep area, and dining space for cleanliness, working condition and proper furniture/equipment set-up.
- Establish par levels for supplies and equipment. Complete requisitions to replenish shortages or additional items needed for the anticipated business.
- Maintain complete knowledge of correct maintenance and use of equipment. Use equipment only as intended.
- Check storage areas for proper supplies, organization, and cleanliness.
- Clear and reset counters and tables at conclusion of each guest.
- Maintain cleanliness of work areas throughout the day, practicing clean-as-you-go procedures.
- Maintain complete knowledge of and comply with department policies, service procedures and standards.
- Respond to guest requests and complaints in a timely, efficient, appropriate and friendly manner.
- Work with the hotel team to create and deliver a memorable service experience for guests.
- Handle guest requests personally and/or refer to another team member as appropriate.
- Provide guests with the finest quality of service at all times in a warm and enthusiastic manner.
- Maintain a professional image at all times through action, appearance and dress.
- Follow Company policies and procedures.
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor or management.
Requirements
- Prior experience in fine dining, food service, or hospitality environments is highly preferred
- Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and excellent communication abilities
- Knowledge of food handling safety standards and food safety regulations
- Ability to work early mornings on weekends, with flexibility to adapt to busy service times
- Familiarity with dietary accommodations and food industry best practices is beneficial
