Job Description:
The Driver is responsible for safely transporting hotel guests, VIPs, and staff as required, while delivering a professional and courteous service that reflects the luxury standards of the property. The role involves ensuring the cleanliness, maintenance, and readiness of assigned vehicles at all times.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely transport guests and staff to various destinations as scheduled or requested.
- Greet guests warmly, assist with luggage, and ensure a comfortable, courteous travel experience.
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness inside and out, and ensure vehicles are fueled, serviced, and roadworthy.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and hotel driving policies at all times.
- Keep detailed logs of trips, fuel usage, and maintenance needs as per company procedures.
- Assist with airport pickups, drop-offs, VIP transfers, errands, and special transportation requests.
- Report any vehicle damage, malfunction, or incidents promptly to the Guest Relations or Fleet Manager.
- Coordinate with Concierge and Front Office teams to manage transportation schedules efficiently.
- Uphold guest privacy, discretion, and confidentiality at all times.
- Provide local knowledge, directions, and basic concierge-style assistance when requested by guests.
Desired Skill & Expertise:
- Valid UAE driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar driving role, preferably within a luxury hotel or hospitality environment.
- Strong knowledge of Dubai roads, landmarks, and traffic regulations.
- Good communication skills in English; additional languages are a plus.
- Polite, professional appearance and customer-focused demeanor.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
- Basic understanding of guest service standards and etiquette.
- Punctual, reliable, and able to handle responsibilities independently.
- Familiarity with navigation tools and traffic apps (e.g., Google Maps, Waze).
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion when dealing with VIP guests.
