Responsibilities

• Maintain floors through sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing to ensure a spotless appearance
• Restock supplies such as toiletries, linens, and cleaning materials to ensure availability for guests or residents
• Follow safety protocols and proper handling procedures for cleaning chemicals and equipment
• Report maintenance issues or damages promptly to ensure timely resolution
• Adhere to established health and safety standards to create a safe environment for all occupants
• Support team efforts by assisting with special cleaning projects or deep cleans as needed

Skills

• Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or housekeeping roles, preferably within hospitality or industrial settings
• Strong knowledge of floor care techniques including polishing, stripping, and buffing floors
• Familiarity with hotel or hospitality industry standards is a plus
• Excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality and thoroughness
• Ability to operate cleaning machinery such as vacuums, floor buffers, and carpet cleaners
• Good physical stamina for standing, bending, lifting, and moving throughout shifts
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
