Job Summary
We are on the lookout for a proactive and detail-oriented Banquet Supervisor to lead our banquet and catering teams. In this role, you’ll oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of banquet events, ensuring every detail meets our high standards for quality and service. Duties

• Supervise all aspects of banquet setup, service, and breakdown to ensure smooth event flow.
• Coordinate with culinary staff to oversee food preparation, presentation, and dietary requirements for events.
• Manage banquet staff schedules, assign duties, and monitor performance to maintain high standards of service.
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper handling of food during all stages of event execution.
• Oversee inventory management for banquet supplies, linens, and food items, reporting shortages or issues promptly.
• Collaborate with clients and event planners to understand their needs and customize services accordingly.
• Lead by example in delivering excellent customer service and fostering a positive team environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in food service management, restaurant management, or hospitality supervision with a focus on banquets or catering.
• Strong knowledge of food production, cooking techniques, and food handling safety practices.
• Demonstrated leadership skills with supervising experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with kitchen management systems and shift management responsibilities.
• Excellent communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members and clients.
• Background in culinary arts or hospitality management is preferred; experience in the food industry is essential.
