Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and professional Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely delivering products to customers, ensuring timely service, and maintaining excellent customer relations. This role requires strong driving skills, organizational abilities, and a focus on customer satisfaction. Prior experience in commercial driving, sales, or merchandising is a plus, along with excellent communication skills. The Delivery Driver will play a vital role in representing our company and ensuring smooth delivery operations.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate company vehicles to deliver products to various locations according to scheduled routes
• Manage route driving efficiently to meet delivery deadlines while maintaining safety standards
• Assist with loading and heavy lifting of merchandise or packages as needed
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer inquiries professionally and courteously
• Upsell additional products or services when appropriate to enhance sales opportunities
• Maintain accurate delivery documentation and route logs
• Ensure vehicle cleanliness and perform basic maintenance checks regularly
• Follow all traffic laws and company policies during deliveries
• Merchandize products at customer locations as required, ensuring proper display and placement

Skills

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and experience in commercial driving
• Strong knowledge of route driving and navigation skills
• Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with customers and team members
• Basic math skills for handling pricing, invoices, and sales transactions
• Ability to upsell products or services confidently and professionally
• Organizational skills to manage deliveries efficiently and keep accurate records
• Heavy lifting capability for handling merchandise or packages safely
• Experience in sales or merchandising is advantageous
• Military background is a plus, demonstrating discipline and reliability
• Strong driving skills combined with safety awareness at all times
