Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and dependable OTR (Over-the-Road) box truck driver to join our dynamic delivery team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating a box truck to deliver goods to various locations while providing exceptional customer service. Responsibilities

• Safely operate a box truck for route driving and delivery of goods to multiple destinations
• Load and unload cargo using manual lifting techniques, pallet jacks, or forklifts when necessary
• Ensure accurate documentation of deliveries, including load verification and delivery receipts
• Provide excellent customer service by interacting professionally with clients during drop-offs and pickups
• Follow all safety protocols, traffic laws, and company policies to ensure safe driving practices
• Maintain cleanliness and routine inspection of the vehicle to ensure optimal performance and safety
• Plan routes efficiently to meet delivery schedules while adapting to traffic or route changes as needed

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience with <PERSON> driver or courier roles preferred
• Proven delivery driver experience with a focus on route driving and heavy lifting tasks
• Ability to operate a manual transmission box truck confidently and safely
• Warehouse experience or familiarity with load & unload procedures using forklifts or pallet jacks
• Strong customer service skills with professional communication abilities
• Physical ability to lift heavy items regularly and perform moving tasks efficiently
• Knowledge of traffic laws, safety regulations, and best practices for commercial driving
