Job Summary
. Reporting to the Kitchen Lead and General Manager, the Cook plays a vital role in preparing nutritious, high-quality meals and supporting the overall dining experience for our residents. This position is key to ensuring food services meet the highest standards of safety, sanitation, and resident satisfaction.

Performance Requirements
- Collaborate with the Kitchen Lead and General Manager to ensure compliance with all legislative, regulatory, and Omni standards.
- Prepare and serve meals according to established menus, recipes, and dietary requirements, including texture modifications and therapeutic diets.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment, following safe food handling and infection control protocols.
- Ensure meals are served at appropriate temperatures and residents are offered visual choices to meet their preferences.
- Work cooperatively with the multidisciplinary care team to support resident well-being.
- Assist with supply receiving, storage, and inventory management.
- Support onboarding and training of new nutritional care personnel.
- Participate in quality improvement, risk management, and continuing education initiatives
