Position Summary
An upper-upscale downtown hotel is seeking a detail-oriented and service-driven Overnight Night Auditor to join the Front Office team. This role blends refined guest service with financial accountability, ensuring a seamless overnight experience while upholding luxury hospitality standards. The Night Auditor serves as the primary point of contact during overnight hours, safeguarding the integrity of daily financial reporting while delivering elevated, anticipatory service to all guests.
Key Responsibilities
Guest Experience & Front Desk Operations
- Provide a warm, polished arrival and departure experience aligned with luxury service standards.
- Serve as the overnight ambassador of the hotel, handling guest inquiries, requests, and concerns with professionalism and discretion.
- Anticipate guest needs, ensuring a personalized and seamless stay for VIPs and all guests.
- Maintain a visible and attentive presence in the lobby, reinforcing a safe and welcoming environment.
Night Audit & Financial Accuracy
- Execute the nightly audit process, reconciling all departments including Front Office, Food & Beverage, and ancillary revenue streams.
- Balance and post daily transactions, ensuring accuracy across folios, ledgers, and system reports.
- Prepare and distribute daily financial summaries and operational reports to leadership.
- Identify and resolve discrepancies with a high level of attention to detail and accountability.
