Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, organize, and supervise daily housekeeping operations for guest rooms, public areas, offices, and other facilities.
- Recruit, train, and manage housekeeping staff, including scheduling, performance evaluations, and development.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and safety in all areas of responsibility.
- Monitor the use and maintenance of cleaning equipment, tools, and supplies.
- Develop and implement housekeeping policies, procedures, and standards to optimize efficiency and service quality.
- Conduct regular inspections of rooms and public areas to ensure quality standards are met.
- Manage inventory of housekeeping supplies, linens, and amenities, ensuring proper stock levels and cost control.
- Handle guest requests, complaints, and feedback professionally and promptly.
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate cleaning schedules, special projects, and events.
- Prepare reports on housekeeping operations, staff performance, and departmental performance for management review.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Hotel Management, Hospitality, or related field (preferred).
- Proven experience as a Housekeeping Manager or in a supervisory housekeeping role in hospitality.
- Strong leadership and team management skills to motivate and guide housekeeping staff.
- Excellent organizational, time-management, and problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of cleaning methods, equipment, and hygiene standards.
- Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities efficiently.
