Hyatt Regency Vancouver is seeking a dedicated, professional, customer service-orientated individual to join the Mosaic Bar & Grille team as a Server (Part-Time).
Restaurant servers are responsible for submitting guest menu selections and presenting these food and beverage preferences. The right person will gain menu knowledge and give recommendations from our compilation of cuisine and drink offerings. Their style and service attributes are keys to creating the guest experience. Other duties include general restaurant preparation and maintaining a sanitary environment.
Candidate must be available to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays. Starting wage for this position is $19.07 per hour, after 6 months wage is $22.25 per hour, after 1 year wage is $25.43 per hour.

Visa Requirements: Must be legally eligible to work in Canada. The hotel is unable to assist candidates in obtaining Canadian work authorization.
Qualifications
Qualifications
- Must have BC Serving It Right certificate
- Must have Food Safe Level 1 certificate
- Must be available to work various shifts which include weekends and holidays depending on business needs
- Must have previous customer service experience
- Must have at least one year serving experience in a hotel, restaurant or pub setting
- Must have good upselling skills
- Previous cash handling experience preferred
- Knowledge and previous experience with POS Micros system is preferred
- Must have refined and professional communication skills at all times
