Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
  • Ensure the kitchen is clean, organized, and compliant with health regulations.
  • Assist in meal preparation and presentation to ensure quality and consistency.
  • Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including knives and cooking appliances.
  • Handle cash transactions accurately using the POS system and cash register.
  • Provide excellent guest services by responding to customer inquiries and feedback.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to maintain smooth operations during service hours.
  • Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and report any shortages or needs.

Experience

  • Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred.
  • Familiarity with meal preparation techniques and kitchen equipment.
  • Experience with cash handling and operating cash registers is a plus.
  • Knowledge of OpenTable or similar reservation systems is desirable.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • A passion for cooking and creating memorable dining experiences for guests.
