Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
- Ensure the kitchen is clean, organized, and compliant with health regulations.
- Assist in meal preparation and presentation to ensure quality and consistency.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including knives and cooking appliances.
- Handle cash transactions accurately using the POS system and cash register.
- Provide excellent guest services by responding to customer inquiries and feedback.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to maintain smooth operations during service hours.
- Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and report any shortages or needs.
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred.
- Familiarity with meal preparation techniques and kitchen equipment.
- Experience with cash handling and operating cash registers is a plus.
- Knowledge of OpenTable or similar reservation systems is desirable.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- A passion for cooking and creating memorable dining experiences for guests.
