Job Summary

A Bus Driver is responsible for safely transporting passengers along assigned routes, ensuring a comfortable and timely journey. This includes maintaining vehicle cleanliness, following traffic laws, and providing courteous customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate buses on scheduled routes or private trips (e.g., staff, school, public).
• Pick up and drop off passengers at designated stops or locations.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Follow traffic laws and safety regulations.
• Keep the bus clean and presentable.
• Report any mechanical issues or incidents to supervisors.
• Assist passengers with disabilities or special needs, if required.
• Maintain logbooks and route records as required by company policy.

Requirements

• Valid commercial driving license (e.g., UAE – Heavy Bus License No. 6).
• Clean driving record with no major violations.
• Minimum 2 years of driving experience (preferably in bus or heavy vehicle operation).
• Knowledge of traffic rules, safety regulations, and local routes.
• Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge is a plus.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
