Trucking Shop Labourer

Job Type: Full Time, Permanent

Schedule: 8 Hours/day, Monday through Friday, Schedule as per Operational Requirements, OT after 8hr/day or 44hr/week

Location: Edmonton and Surrounding Area’s (non-camp position, required to live in the area)

Essential: Hard-working, reliable, flexible with schedule, ability to work in physically demanding conditions

Requirements:

• Personal Reliable Vehicle
• CSA approved steel toed boots with 6” ankle support

Pre-employment:

• Drug and alcohol testing (swab-based test)
• Successful completion of Company Orientation and site-specific orientation
• Fitness to Work Assessment
• Mask Fit Testing

Washbay Labourer / Trucking Shop Labourer Responsibilities:

• Washing various pieces of heavy equipment, parts, and support vehicles in the washbay with high pressure hose.
• Ensure proper treatment and maintenance of wash wands, bays, and equipment.
• Perform general housekeeping to ensure the wash bay is clean and organized.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness in shop including wiping down surfaces, washing floors…etc.
• Load and unload supplies from trucks manually and at times may be asked to use equipment.
• Promote, execute and adhere to the company’s safety program, and encourage all employees, subcontractors and consultants to adopt safety as a culture.
