Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Receptionist/Bookkeeper to start immediately. The ideal candidate will be responsible for all bookkeeping and secretarial duties, directly supporting the business owner/operator. The position is 8:30-4:30. Monday – Friday in our office in Campbell River.
Duties
- Answer phones and attend to walk in customers.
- Utilize accounting software for bookkeeping tasks.
- Perform account reconciliation to ensure accuracy of financial statements.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including invoicing and payment processing.
- Process government remittances.
- Process payroll.
- Process ICBC claims.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role.
- Proficiency in accounting software.
- Experience with account reconciliation, payroll, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Excellent customer service skills.
