Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Receptionist/Bookkeeper to start immediately. The ideal candidate will be responsible for all bookkeeping and secretarial duties, directly supporting the business owner/operator. The position is 8:30-4:30. Monday – Friday in our office in Campbell River.

Duties

  • Answer phones and attend to walk in customers.
  • Utilize accounting software for bookkeeping tasks.
  • Perform account reconciliation to ensure accuracy of financial statements.
  • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including invoicing and payment processing.
  • Process government remittances.
  • Process payroll.
  • Process ICBC claims.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in accounting software.
  • Experience with account reconciliation, payroll, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
