Job Description:
We are seeking a reliable Admin Assistant to join our construction company in Umm Al Quwain.
The candidate should be proactive, organized, and experienced in handling administrative
tasks in a construction environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in preparing, formatting, and submitting tenders and proposals.
- Organize, update, and maintain project-related documents and records.
- Welcome and assist visitors/guests in a professional manner.
- Answer and direct phone calls promptly and courteously.
- Draft, review, and manage incoming/outgoing emails, letters, and memos.
- Maintain proper filing systems (both digital and physical) for easy retrieval.
- Schedule and prepare for meetings, take minutes, and circulate follow-ups.
- Manage office supplies and general administrative needs while ensuring the cleanliness
and organization of the office.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, and subcontractors as required.
- Assist in preparing progress reports, logs, and summaries for management.
- Perform any additional tasks assigned by management as required.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in an administrative role in a construction company
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure
