Job Title: The Grille Supervisor
Job Pay Range: $18.00-$25.00 per hour inclusive of hourly pay rate + service charge*

  • $18.00-$25.00 per hour based on a $12.00 per hour base wage + service charge commission paid per shift; historically, this position averages service charge commission earnings of $6.00-$13.00 per hour. Service charges are commissions and will fluctuate based on events and time of year.

This position always earns at least the current Colorado minimum wage $15.16 per hour.

As a member of the Food and Beverage team, you will be responsible to supervise and coordinate activities of dining room employees engaged in providing courteous and rapid service to diners by performing the following duties.

What you will be doing:

  • Oversees shift operations in The Grille
  • Trains and monitors dining room employees for excellent service.
  • Schedules dining room staff to ensure service delivery
  • Checks reservations for special parties and verifies complete instructions for said parties.
  • Presents menu to the guest, offers recommendations and description for the purpose of assisting and upselling the menu.
  • Assists waitstaff in retrieving items from the kitchen and bar, serving when necessary.
  • Assists the bartender as needed.
  • Adjusts complaints regarding food or service.
  • Ensure station and sidework are complete prior to staff leaving.
  • Responsible for the training and orientation of new employees.
  • Willingness to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Uphold and abide by all Broadmoor policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
  • Other duties as assigned

What we are looking for:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to two years related experience and/or training; equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook)
  • The employee is occasionally required to lift/pull/push up to 100 pounds.
