Duties

• Thoroughly wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment or manual methods.
• Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping vegetables or organizing ingredients when needed.
• Support the catering team by handling dishware during events and ensuring all items are ready for service.
• Maintain cleanliness in the dishwashing area, including floors, sinks, counters, and storage spaces to promote a safe workspace.
• Buss tables by clearing used dishes and assisting servers with food handling to ensure efficient service flow.
• Help with basic kitchen cleaning duties such as wiping down surfaces and disposing of waste properly.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely turnaround of dishes during busy service hours.

Requirements

• Previous restaurant or hospitality experience is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is key!
• Familiarity with food handling safety standards and sanitation practices.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks with energy and efficiency.
• Strong attention to detail when cleaning and organizing kitchen areas.
• Experience in food service or catering environments is a plus, especially banquet or hotel experience.
• Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards supporting culinary operations.
