POSITION SUMMARY

Host/Housekeeper – Join Our Team in Churchill, Manitoba. Daytime/evening some weekend shifts.

Position Type: Seasonal June until December

We’re looking for a reliable and energetic Host/Housekeeper to join our team at the charming Blueberry Inn in the heart of Churchill, Manitoba — a world-famous destination for polar bears, beluga whales, and the northern lights.

Position Summary:
As a Host/Housekeeper, responsible to the Blueberry Inn manager, you will play a key role in ensuring our guests feel at home and our inn stays spotless and inviting. This dual role combines providing outstanding hospitality with maintaining high standards of cleanliness and comfort throughout the property.

Daily Tasks:

· Greet and assist guests with check-in/check-out, answering questions and providing local insights.

· Clean and prepare guest rooms and common areas to a high standard.

· Assist with breakfast setup, light food prep, and tidying up the dining area.

· Maintain guest satisfaction by addressing requests promptly and professionally.

· Help with light laundry and restocking supplies as needed.

· Support the Inn Manager with merchandise sales, including invoicing, payment processing and inventory organization.

What We’re Looking For:

· Friendly, outgoing, and service-oriented personality.

· Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

· Ability to work independently and as part of a small, supportive team.

· Manitoba Serving It Safe certificate.

· Food Handlers Certificate an asset.

· Previous hospitality or housekeeping experience.

· Must be able to stand/walk for 6-10 hours a day, safely lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs).

· Must be legally entitled to work in Canada.

· Must be able to speak and write fluently in English.
