Job Summary

The Hotel Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, order, and overall appearance of guest rooms and public areas. This role ensures guests enjoy a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment by performing daily cleaning duties to hotel standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Clean guest rooms including making beds, dusting furniture, vacuuming carpets, and cleaning bathrooms.
  • Replace linens, towels, and room amenities according to hotel standards.
  • Replenish supplies such as soap, shampoo, tissues, and toilet paper.
  • Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor.
  • Ensure all assigned areas are cleaned and maintained.
  • Handle guest requests promptly and courteously.
  • Follow proper chemical handling procedures and safety guidelines.
  • Maintain housekeeping carts, equipment, and storage areas in a clean and organized manner.
  • Assist with laundry duties as needed (washing, drying, folding linens).
  • Follow all hotel policies, procedures, and health/safety regulations.
  • Excellent communication skills
