WHAT WILL I BE DOING?

Leads the team to complete objectives of the shift; often is assigned daily tasks to complete by their leaders; leads entry level employees in day to day operations; monitors labor and expenses related to their shift to balance service provision against optimization of margins.

• Establish clear service standards and expectations for team members and supervise daily operations, provide ongoing coaching and recognition, and promptly address and document any performance concerns.
• Conduct performance evaluations on all direct reports and propose development plans to help motivate workers to achieve goals.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with guests and group conveners and is confident managing guest expectations, resolving issues and delivering a seamless and elevated guest experience.
• Order and maintain inventory required for the business unit to operate effectively, adhering to the par levels provided by leadership.
• Oversee and support the Restaurant and Banquets teams with daily tasks and stepping in to perform frontline duties when required to support service flow.
• Support leadership in POS programming and billing for guests/groups billing processes to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
