Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Baker to join our culinary team. 3 years of experience The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and a keen interest in creating delicious baked goods. As a Baker, you will be responsible for producing a variety of pastries, breads,ciabatas, foccacias,baguette and desserts while ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality. This role requires creativity, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Duties

  • Prepare and bake a wide range of baked goods including breads, pastries, cakes, and cookies.
  • Follow recipes accurately to ensure consistency in taste and presentation.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, adhering to food safety standards.
  • Monitor inventory levels of baking ingredients and assist in ordering supplies as needed.
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to develop new recipes and menu items.
  • Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers and taking special orders when necessary.
  • Utilize kitchen equipment safely, including ovens, mixers, proffer and various baking tools.
  • Conduct regular quality checks on baked products to ensure freshness and quality.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in food preparation or baking within the culinary or food industry.
  • Strong knowledge of pastry techniques and baking methods.
  • Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practice. Proficiency in using kitchen equipment.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with clients.
  • A passion for baking and creativity in developing new recipes is highly desirable.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts as needed in a dynamic kitchen environment.
