Job Overview

Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of residential or commercial spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces to uphold hygiene standards
• Execute specialized cleaning tasks such as carpet cleaning, floor care, and window washing to ensure all areas are spotless and well-maintained
• Manage laundry services by washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens or clothing items efficiently
• Maintain sanitation protocols by disinfecting bathrooms, kitchens, and high-touch areas regularly
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing residents’ or guests’ requests promptly and professionally
• Assist with housekeeping management tasks such as inventory control of cleaning supplies and scheduling cleaning routines
• Support janitorial duties including trash removal, restocking supplies, and ensuring all cleaning equipment is properly maintained

Skills

• Proven experience in residential or commercial cleaning environments with janitorial or custodial background preferred
• Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, floor care methods, and sanitation practices
• Ability to operate cleaning machinery such as carpet cleaners, floor buffers, and vacuum systems effectively
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
• Basic cooking skills are a plus for roles involving meal preparation or assisting with light food service tasks
• Experience in hotel housekeeping or hospitality management is advantageous
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of cleanliness
