Overview: Crocker’s Boatyard is a full-service marina specializing in marine recreation, service, serving the coastal community of eastern CT. CBY provides the highest quality of service to customers by upholding a high degree of professionalism, honesty, and integrity. CBY is seeking a fulltime Bottom Painter/Boat Detailer to join our service team.

Responsibilities:

• Complete assigned work as efficiently and adequately as possible
• Prepare boat bottoms by scraping, sanding, grinding, and cleaning
• Apply multiple coats of epoxy primer, anti-fouling paints, etc.
• Clean, buff, polish, and wax boat interiors and exteriors in preparation for delivery to the customer
• Keep workspace clean and organized at all times

Qualifications and Expertise:

• Bottom painting and/or boat detailing experience preferred but not required
• High attention to detail, precision, and accuracy
• Know how to work safely in a shop environment, maintain a clean work environment and adhere to required safety policies
• Must be able to get along with others
• Good health and physical mobility
• Ability to work on their feet outside in all weather conditions.

Pay: $17.00 – $20.00 per hour
