The Delivery Driver is responsible for driving a propane delivery truck (bobtail) and filling tanks at the sites of our residential, commercial, and industrial customers. Delivery Drivers work closely with our customers and meet safety and customer service standards to ensure the best experience.

Job Details:

• Full-Time Position
• Complete daily local routes (home every night)

Position Responsibilities

Delivery Operations:

• Responsible for completing daily propane deliveries to local customers
• Follow a pre-determined route, communicating any necessary route changes and/or issues directly to manager
• Record deliveries, meter readings, and tank percentages accurately via Tablet
• Responsible for inspecting vehicle at the start of each day and notifying manager of needed equipment, supplies, or routine maintenance
• Responsible for inspecting, painting, and repairing tanks owned by the company
• Performs other duties as assigned

Customer Service:

• Interact with customers professionally, addressing questions and concerns about propane delivery.
• Communicate effectively with your team regarding delivery schedules and any issues encountered.
• Respond to emergency delivery requests as needed.

Safety Compliance:

• Comply with all DOT and state regulations regarding hazardous materials transportation.
• Educate customers on safe practices related to propane
• Ensure safety through prefill inspections, customer awareness, and system testing
• Wear required safety gear including protective clothing and equipment.
• Report any safety concerns or incidents immediately.
• Maintain proper knowledge of propane handling procedures and emergency response protocols.
