Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily housekeeping activities, including cleaning, laundry, and custodial tasks
• Train and mentor housekeeping staff to uphold quality standards and safety procedures
• Monitor cleaning schedules to ensure timely completion of tasks across all areas
• Conduct inspections of guest rooms, public spaces, and back-of-house areas to verify cleanliness and adherence to protocols
• Manage inventory of cleaning supplies, linens, and equipment to optimize resources
• Address guest or staff concerns promptly, resolving issues with professionalism and care
• Support the recruitment, onboarding, and performance evaluations of housekeeping team members

Skills

• Proven supervising experience in housekeeping or custodial services within hospitality or commercial settings
• Strong leadership abilities with a focus on team motivation and development
• Extensive janitorial experience including cleaning techniques, laundry operations, and sanitation standards
• Knowledge of hotel or hospitality industry standards for cleanliness and guest service
• Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently
• Ability to communicate clearly and work collaboratively with diverse teams
• Familiarity with management tools for scheduling, inventory control, and reporting
