Responsibilities

  • Assist housekeeping staff with cleaning guest rooms, corridors, lobbies, and public spaces to uphold high standards of cleanliness and presentation
  • Perform floor care duties including sweeping, mopping, polishing, and carpet cleaning to maintain a pristine environment
  • Support with the replenishment of supplies such as linens, toiletries, and amenities in guest rooms and common areas
  • Conduct routine inspections of hotel facilities to identify maintenance or cleaning needs and report issues promptly
  • Support housekeeping with the stripping of linens and removal of trash from departed rooms
  • Ensure all back-of-house areas are organized, sanitized, and free of clutter for efficient operations
  • Assist with industrial cleaning tasks when necessary, including deep cleaning projects or specialized sanitation procedures
  • Follow safety protocols and use proper janitorial equipment to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and colleagues

Skills

  • Proven experience in cleaning, custodial work, or janitorial services within a hospitality or industrial setting
  • Previous hotel experience or familiarity with hospitality standards is highly desirable
  • Excellent attention to detail with a proactive attitude toward maintaining cleanliness and organization
  • Ability to work efficiently independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments
  • Knowledge of safety procedures related to industrial cleaning equipment and chemicals
