Position Overview
As a Cashier / Front of House Team Member, you are the face of Ake Larry 2. You set the tone for every guest interaction and play a key role in building relationships with our regular customers.
This role goes beyond taking orders — it’s about:
- Creating a welcoming and efficient experience
- Recognizing returning guests and building rapport
- Maintaining flow during high-volume periods
- Supporting overall shop operations
Core ResponsibilitiesCustomer Experience
- Greet every guest with energy, awareness, and professionalism
- Take accurate orders and guide customers through the menu when needed
- Maintain a sense of urgency while staying composed and friendly
- Ensure every guest leaves with a positive experience
Building Relationships with Regulars (High Priority)
- Learn names, faces, and usual orders of repeat customers
- Acknowledge returning guests (ex: “Good to see you again”)
- Anticipate needs when possible to create a personalized experience
- Communicate appreciation for their continued support
Our regulars are the backbone of our business — this is not optional, it’s a core expectation.
POS & Transactions
- Accurately input orders into the POS system
- Handle cash and card transactions responsibly
- Apply promotions, discounts, and loyalty rewards correctly
- Maintain awareness of active promotions and app features
Team Communication
- Clearly communicate orders to kitchen staff
- Call out modifications and ensure accuracy
- Support team members during rush periods
- Maintain strong communication to ensure smooth service flow
Cleanliness & Organization
- Keep front counter, drink stations, and dining area clean and organized
- Restock supplies (cups, lids, napkins, sauces, etc.)
- Maintain a professional and clean workspace at all times
