Overview
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Golf Shop Attendant to join our team. This role is essential in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive experience for all guests at our golf facility. The ideal candidate will possess strong sales skills, a passion for golf, and the ability to communicate effectively with customers.

Duties

• Greet customers warmly and provide assistance with their shopping needs in the golf shop.
• Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently while maintaining a balanced cash register.
• Promote and sell golf merchandise, including apparel, equipment, and accessories through effective upselling techniques.
• Conduct product demonstrations to showcase new items and enhance customer engagement.
• Maintain an organized and visually appealing shop environment, ensuring that products are well-stocked and displayed attractively.
• Answer phone inquiries with professionalism, providing information about products, services, and promotions.
• Assist in inventory management by tracking stock levels and reporting any discrepancies or needs for reordering.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations within the shop.

Requirements

• Previous experience in retail sales or a similar customer service role is preferred.
• Strong sales abilities with a focus on upselling and product knowledge.
• Proficient cash handling skills with attention to detail in transactions.
• Basic math skills for accurate pricing and change calculations.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a friendly demeanor.
