Position Summary

The Personal Care Assistant provides direct support to residents with activities of daily living while helping maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment. The right candidate will be professional, attentive, and able to provide emotional and physical support with dignity and compassion.

Responsibilities

• Ensure residents receive medications as directed and on time (If certified as a MED-Aide)
• Assist residents who are unable to move independently
• Help residents with dressing, bathing, grooming, toileting, and meals
• Support residents with mobility and physical activity as directed
• Assist with meal times for dietary needs or restrictions
• Help maintain a clean and safe environment
• Provide companionship and emotional support to residents
• Observe and report unusual changes, concerns, or incidents to supervisors
• Respond quickly and responsibly in emergency situations
• Promote residents’ comfort, dignity, and independence at all times
