Full job description

The Driver / Groundsman position generally consists of driving class A, B or C trucks to the job site and working hard with our tree crews hauling branches and logs to chip up the debris. Tree service experience is preferred, but not required. A Class A, B or C license is required. Other responsibilities may include:

Job Duties

• Positioning and operating the chipper
• Dumping or assisting with dumping chips
• Picking up chips and putting down dirt from stump grindings
• Mulch & firewood deliveries
• Installing mulch
• Assist in firewood production
• Miscellaneous tasks around the shop building
• Washing trucks and maintaining equipment
• Filling up with fuel, clean out & inspect truck at the end of the day
• Communicate any issues regarding equipment
• Use of safety equipment and following safety procedures

Qualifications

• Class A, B or C license is required
• Ability to lift 50-100 pounds
• Tree service experience preferred but not required
• Ability to work in all weather conditions all year round
• Positive attitude and good work ethic
